I am a unique individual in terms of my personality type and lifestyle. I hold high standards for myself and seek the same in a partner. Merciful, loving, caring, joyful, playful, kind, determined, wise, understanding and persevering are characteristics that describe me. I prefer to see the best in others and the positive in difficult situations. I consider good communication to be fundamental and necessary to a healthy relationship. I enjoy stimulating conversation and being creative. I can be very silly at times and this comes from a place of inner joy.
A man recently send me the following metaphor to which I relate.
Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men, don`t want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling, and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that, are not as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, THEY`RE amazing, sweet, and delicious. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough and persistent enough to keep climbing all the way to the top of the tree.
I am wishing to find the person who will climb the tree and share in my life. I do not think that "something is wrong with me", however, just different than the norm. I seek mutual admiration and respect, someone to laugh with and adore.
What I am looking for:
Qualities include inner joy, gratitude, serenity, merciful, a balance between being serious and playful, respectful, the ability to see the best in others, kindness, patience, caring, charitable and loving. Additional attributes include being educated and stable both financially and emotionally. Good communication skills are a high priority. A reverence for life and for God or if you prefer, a Higher Power, is a must along with the understanding that we are spiritual beings evolving in physical bodies.
